I’m not sure if this is new or something but recently I’ve stumbled upon events that would only make sense for the character I was playing at the time. for example, a couple of weeks ago my WAR who is a member of the vigil was mapping in bloodtide coast. I randomly heard “You should’ve died with Forgal!” and then an event pop up named something like “Avenge forgal by killing the risen commander.” Which is just a vet I need to kill.
Just then my guard which is a member of the whispers also got attacked by a vet but: (see attached screenshot)
I find this a nice touch of the game, making my personal story relating to open world event.
