just hit 60 and no one in lvl 60 zones
Sparkfly Fen and Fireheart Rise should be good places.
Best places on the higher side of the 60-80 spectrum is Orr, mostly Cursed Shore with a little Malchor’s Leap and sometimes people clear Balthazar in the Straits of Devastation.

Play in an empty server and of course the game seems dead. Play in a full server and you’ll realize that there are people roaming in every zone. In leveling all 5 characters on JQ, I never hit a deserted zone going from 1-80. And that was in the days we wrecked everyone in WvW and there was a much smaller PvE population than there is now.
@OP: What server are you on? Try transferring to one of the top tier WvW servers or roleplay servers (NA one is Tarnished Coast, not sure of Euro). Those tend to be well populated throughout.

I think they’re talking about the 50-60 zones, which are usually fairly dead (especially Timberline)
