ArenaNet said they’d spread late-game content, like large-scale bosses, throughout the game. i’m level 61, and aside from my beginning-of-story boss, the only large-scale bosses i’ve seen outside of instances are the Shadow Behemoth (level 11 i think?) and the Shatterer (level 50).
somebody, please tell me i’m wrong and where i can find others.

You’re missing a bunch.

Sylvari starting zone has 2, norn zone has 1, there’s tequatl, claw of jormag, giant risen crab.

I’m sure there’s more too.

Edit: There’s the fire elemental too, and the centaur air elemental.

Yes you are missing a ton. No they aren’t all “huge bosses”, but they are larger than normal Dynamic Events.

3 Legendary Bosses at the end of Meta Events in Cursed Shore. Claw of Jormag is still by far the most fun though.

Some of them are just far more notable than others

Here’s an average charr leveling path
1-15 plains – the world boss here is hidden in the tomb, and ive seen him done once, despite being in plains quite often.
15-25 diessa – the giant at nageling is about all you’ll get here. Which is hardly a meta event so much as just a typical DE.
25-35 gendarran – Does this place even have a meta event boss? Ive never seen one

35-45 harathi – Woo, first meta boss. And it’s actually pretty fun.

45-55 bloodtide – I’ve been here a bunch and never seen one. You do get champion sharks now and then. But that’s just obnoxious rather than fun imo.
50-60 iron marches (I went back to the charr places because I was now suitably leveled) – Not a whole lot. Most DE’s are bugged. And while there are a few strong things roaming about, I dont think there’s a meta
60-70 fireheart – there’s a few bosses as part of a DE, but I dont think there’s a meta
70-80 frostgorge – Claw of jormag

Depending on your leveling path you can see as few as 3 Meta bosses (and I have my doubts about the one in plains ever being killed during standard play)
it’s not really the best of things.
