As a member of a smaller guild, I’m looking forward to these. Can we have any more information about how much influence we will require to unlock these and/or what level is required of what category?

It is nice to see that they are aware of that issue, but its still not right if you ask me.
Everyone should have the same opportunity to experience part of the game and not be discriminated against if you are not in a big guild ( even if just for that purpose).

So there should be a formula that would calculate how many members there are in a guild, how many influence were earned the previous week, what kind of upgrades are already unlocked, etc.
That would give a relative cost for each guild individualy.

I agree, jaka. It’s sad that Anet seem to be making life hard for smaller guilds.

So do people still get guild commendations or no? ~-~ They only covered half the possible rewards…

what are you talking about, its true you dont get the same rewards but you do get a hole bunch of influance now, that you can use to save up for the real bountys and such. 3000 Guild Influence. Much much faster and more reilistacly than it use to be for small less active guilds
