Maybe I’m missing something, I’ve done the first four, but when i go to get the last two it says I’ve already turned them in. But the status bar say’s I still have 2 to go. Are there multiple objects on each map and I just have to find the right one? I thought it updated itself so that the old objects didn’t show anymore. Any info would be helpful.

The old objects still show and they are indistinguishable from the new ones until you try to pick them up, you need to find the new ones.
I found them all and used dulfy’s maps (major kudos to dulfy for an awesome site!) to look in the areas where the objects have been found. They may be right at or near some of the marked locations on the maps and it is different for each server where those locations might be.
You can also hold down CTL while looking around to see if you can spot it in an area, though I believe you have to be fairly close for it to show up. Usually it will be near where one of the living story events goes on so look for those as well. Also don’t be afraid to just ask in chat if anyone can give a hint.
