Oh he made it sound like you could. So is there a list of the Gauntlets you can get? I’m not sure I understand what they are exactly. Are they a transmutation item or cosmetic? I suppose they replace the gloves/hand item? What kind of stats do they have (if transmutation item).

use your ticket and see them for yourself. Until you decide to buy ticket remains in your inventory allowing you to call the vendor from a different character. It’s mostly just the same skin with heavy/light/medium. It does have stats, however you don’t have a choice in the stats.
Once the guy despawns it doesn’t matter which toon you are on. Just use it, right click, preview. Wait 5mins. Re-spawn the vendor
Just to rephrase my question…
Can I use the ticket several months after the event is done? ‘Couse I plan to keep it untill I have a character that theme will fit the gloves. So I dont want to redeem any of them (’couse I dont know the class of my "flame-ish character to be created once).
Or do I have to use the ticket to get the gloves within the event time?
There is no indication that it will suddenly disappear from your inventory once the dungeon disappears.
