After all that build up, a bonfire?

What happened to the end of weekend finales from gw1? With minigames, prizes and costume hats?

I am on Vent with my guild and just heard the phrase ‘’Is that it?’’ several times.

That is what I thought too. After grinding the dungeon with the hopes of getting some kind of meaningful reward for 30+ hours, getting nothing, and then clicking F on a bonfire it was a very, very disappointing end to what was some otherwise good content. I’m very frustrated I wasted time grinding the dungeon instead of grinding CoF or AC for much better rewards.

don’t forget to visit Cragstead and the Hatchery.

I just went there. : / Anet said we’d see our personal nemesis, at this point. I don’t see her.

There does appear to be a vendor selling alcohol in Cragstead for karma. Get your Thirst Slayer achievements nice and easy now.

Sure, I kitten out karma on a regular basis. Piece of cake.

yep, I guess I was also expecting a celebratory end-phase event that consisted more than just a bonfire buff. Oh well, the buff is nice and better than nothing I guess and it looks like we’ll roll right into the southsun event in just a few days. I’ll take what I can get and be content, c’est la vie

I wasn’t actually expecting much, but I was expecting something! I wonder what happened to the team that used to design the gw1 holiday events?

The dungeon was cool and I really liked the story instances. If they just left out the counter leading people to believe something was going to happen it probably would have been fine.
