Bugged on Blackgate too.

Seems to be stuck around 90% on Blackgate. How are we supposed to move the “Molten Alliance Strength” bar?
Can we get an ETA and acknowledgement on this fix.

Same for Ferguson’s Crossing. Tried doing a couple of Molten events but no change in the bar. And not to mention a bunch of broken flame portals around.

You do realize that if they actually bothered testing the steps involved in starting the flame and frost dungeon for like an hour then this wouldnt of happened in the first place. In all honesty this is a 10 minute into patch content breaking bug that happens every single time on most servers.
This is lazy and disgusting considering oh god the gem store items arent bugged because they will make money compared the flame and frost which is free(you can debate all day bout me complaining bout free content but any game any developer not pro-testing their stuff is just like i said disgusting and i dont care if you wanna call me out on my “whining”).

Totally agree with this, the same thing happens every time they release new content. We should expect it by now.
i do not mean to be a whiner, but ArenaNet… seriously sort your testing team out… literally EVERY patch you guys release has some bugs… from random mobs in queensdale dropping rares and exotics to a new dungeon that is not accessible… really poor.

ok i know i stressed they need to test stuff but small things like that are expected to slip through because pro-testing the ENTIRE game is way too unreasonable but for things like skills for each class that i could see having to be tested and the new content they release yes that should be tested also.
OK. Bugs happen. At least give us a time estimate, instead of leaving us here hanging.

I think they tested this dungeon on they own closed server and that enviroment work fine. But the release is usually different.

but see they could easily replicate this process by having a closed server imitate the download process the live servers experience to catch stuff mixing up along the way.
If that doesnt work they need to implement a test server for players because at this point their pride regarding them handling this all by themselves is starting to become childish because it’s shown to fail quite a bit at this point.
Mentioned in map chat that they have a fix, but are doing some additional fixes before they release patch.
Meh~ bugged on JQ (Jade Quarry) too.
The Flame and Frost story is already very “meh”
And with this bug compounded in the last chapter, its as if anet wants to make people hate flame and frost even more lol.
C’mon anet, stop wasting your effort and time on these temporary meaningless quests and give us a proper expansion pack. SAB is good tho, so release more stages lol.

The bar still appears stuck at 90%. Gandara, Plains of Ashford.
the bar is by design, currently there are a lot of molten facilities under the shiverpeaks. If you open your map and head to the entrance currently available, it should let you in
The bar will decrease as the facilities are destroyed.

It’s bugged at the door when you have to escort the prisoners out.
Um, that sounds like once all the facilities are gone we can’t do the dungeon? Tuesday is the one day a week I can’t play, will there still be stuff to do tomorrow? I do want to destroy a facility for the achieve so what happens if I don’t get in there tonight?

Still bugged—it doesn’t seem to downgrade to allow a single player to run it, instead it spawns enemies as if you had a 5-person Raid group no matter what. Considering the previous stage had no problem with balancing the instances properly, I consider this a bug for this one.

And yet it was made very clear quite long before the update even started that this would be a 5-man dungeon and not a solo-able instance (it is still solo-able though, if you are good enough)

Hmm. Is this going to be the plan with any added content going forward, that we’ll only be able to complete 99% of it without having to get stuck with forced grouping (one of the main reasons I liked GW1, and GW2 up until now was because they’d gotten away from that garbage), meaning an endless repitition of unfinished achievement sets?

Yeah, how dare I get upset because one of the primary reasons I bought GW2 in the first place (other than the ‘pay once, no continuing subscription fees’ pricing model) was that they’d gotten away from the ‘forced grouping’ thing (just like they did in GW1) and with the exception of the handful of optional side-story dungeons (and, apparently, the very last mission in the Personal story, which is equally as upsetting), never requires forced grouping, just balances things to whether it’s one player or many involved in it. Arenanet’s demonstrated time and again that they can scale content to solos and groups. There’s no real excuse for forcing it here.

Ah, the classic troll argument. Sorry, I’d rather see a bad, poorly-designed, or in this case flat-out inconsistant system change rather than just ignore it and do nothing but run away, especially in a case where I’ve paid for it. Arenanet’s shown they can do better than this.

I haven’t, other than having my head handed to me in the very first room, which is kind of the whole point—I can’t run it, despite everything leading up to it being able to run by myself, unless I deal with that forced grouping mess. I’ll take you at your word that it can’t easily be scaled down…at which I point out that Arenanet has handled that before, too, in the end-bosses of Guild Wars 1. There, they didn’t scale down anything for a solo player—instead, they provided additional NPCs with sufficient stats and skills to fight alongside you. There’s no reason they can’t do something similar here, especially considering they did it with the two heroes in the instances in the prevoious LS segment.

Both side are arguing with each other… lovely… all while Anet is now taking the Party Player side, instead of trying to find an happy medium where both side can play happy.
I am a GW1 player, i loved having hechman to tag along in my party so i didnt need to wait and find a random party, who most the time was failing more than my Hero hench party lol…

Heroes were great and they assisted solo players greatly. But no such mechanic is in place atm. And could you imagine trying to carry npcs in a skill based game? nty. Its obvious why they aren’t in here. And without heroes/henchmen, a single player friendly game isn’t going to happen.
Not sure if a bug or not but during the end boss fight & having to go at it repeatedly due to various defeated attempts, it was initially having the group run from the waypoint past the steam vents to the bosses. After a couple of times it was almost warping the party right in the same boss arena almost after going to a waypoint with little time to repair, switch weapons/skills.
