Hi,

I purchased GW2 this week ankittenotally loving it. I currently have a level 12 Mesmer.

I’d like to know if it is still possible for me to finish all the Living Story related achievements. It appears to me that there are some pre-requisites from the older content that I simply cannot access anymore. I looked around Wayfarer Foothills, hoping to find some refugees I could help to earn the ‘Volunteer’ achievement. However, I only saw the Molten weapons facility.

I read that all F&F content is available till May 12th. So, in short:

1. Can I access the content that came before F&F: Retribution?
2. Will my character be able to scale to lvl 80 for all this content? Or should I level up to 80 first?

Hello!

Yes, you can do every event of the Living Story that came out to this point, but hurry up, becouse it will be over in 2 weeks!

As for the dungeon:
When you enter, you will be auto-leveled up to 80, but your gear will stay the same, so you have a disadvantage compared to ‘real’ lv80s.
I recommend leveling up a bit (like to 30), then searching for a nice group of players.

In my groups I already had an lv34, and lv52, and we did the dungeon with no problems (few deaths included of course).

1. Yes. You can still repair refugee signs, find the lost items and so forth.

2. You will be scaled up to level 80 for the Rox/Braham instances, as well as the Molten Facility dungeon. Experienced players can easily solo the instances, but it can be pretty rough for a new player, so I recommend forming a group for them. The dungeon? Definitely go in as a group unless you want to prove something.

1. Maybe my understanding was incorrect – Dont the refugee missions show as ‘World Events’ with the yellow spiral?
2. Can I attempt this content at any time of the day? Or are there certain times that certain quests are active?

1. Try looking aroud the roads on Wayfarer foothills and Dieassa Platue. You’ll bound to find some wounded refugees and downed ones.
Some achievments (like lost and found) maybe hard. Try asking players in game, if they can help you on the map chat. Or you can search up some guides. I recommend this site: http://dulfy.net
Or if you’re hardcore, you can find everything on your own, but that will take A LOT of time:)

2. As far as I know, all events are active at all time. Well except in wich requires you to kill some Molten Alliance mobs – cause they are tied to dynamic events. But these too spawn often.

Its gonna be a few sleepless nights

A friend and I tried running the dungeon as a 20 mesmer (him) and a 14 necro (me) along with higher level people. It didn’t go very well. At levels that low, you’re missing out on a lot of useful traits and you don’t have all your utility skills unlocked yet.

The dungeon’s there for a couple weeks, so I suggest leveling up to at least 30ish (as suggested above).

i have problem with sword item
when i wish take him just tell me i lost this item and he is back to his owner
so it is only item what i need for finish but i can’t take him
and i never give this to his owner ( Npc in LA )
anybody is had same problem
btw anet make thing so complicate and make only big confusion
in game you can find many items that have no use
and just take inventory because you’re never sure if it’s something I can serve
because of lack of explanation

If I understand your post correctly (wich I am not sure in), you miss one of the Lost and found achievment items?

There is no sword… there is a sword belt, is that what you mean?

The message that you are getting indicates, that you have already returned the item. If I were you, I would doublecheck if I got all 6 items (Sword belt, Compass, Logbook, Ship in a bottle, Wooden soldier, Goblet).

Other reason I can think of, is that maybe you accidently deleted the item with other ‘items that have no use’?

I have not yet heard of this problem, nor here on the forums, or in-game.

TL;DR: Check again on all 6 items.

One more thing:

If nothing works, try guesting on another server, you may find it there.
