There was this whole big lead up to some “force” driving the charr and dredge together… but either i’m very dense, very blind or it never happened?

Who/what was the force driving them together? was it in the dungeon somewhere? Do we just never find out?

A mysterious fast-talking womanly trickster from the city! The captured dredge mentions her.

My guess is that it’s the Inquest! These bookah are all too easy to manipulate.

Go to the event with Rox in the Black Citadel Stockade and talk to the dredge guy in the cell. He’ll let you know basically what the idea was behind it.

Yeah, a lot of people will probably miss this. Reminds me of the ending of Resistance 3. You destroy an enemy portal and it looks like everything is fine, with radios in the credits telling you that the enemy is retreating. However, if you collect the last notebook, written by a certain professor, it tells you that even if you destroy this portal, the fight is far from over.

Curiously the Flame Legion guy seems very sure that the Flame Legion can sit out the distruction of the Dragon’s safely though he clams shut when you try to press him as to why.

Remember that the Living Story is supposed to be a continuing thing. As the stories continue threads will run through them. Think of your favorate TV series. All most all of them have plots that play out over a long time and only get hints during the weekly episodes. Eventually that plot will come to the fore.
