I highly doubt you can do this, but if my friend were to complete the dungeon and then use the ticket to summon the fused gauntlet merchant, would I be able to talk to this merchant and buy a pair?

You could probably talk to the merchant and have him display his goods, but you still need a fused gauntlet ticket to exchange for the gloves. He doesn’t take gold or Amex. :X

Found out this isn’t how it works. The ticket just opens a merchant screen, not summon a merchant, like a merchant express. It’s also the currency used to pay for the gauntlets. So yeah, this is impossible

I’m sure when I used mine to have a look at the gauntlets it did summon a merchant.

But like everyone else said the ticket is still the currency used to buy them, so even if you can use someone elses merchant you would still need a ticket to buy them and you’d still lose it in the process.
