Often times when I try to go “back” to the list of topics in a forum, I cannot.

It stays in the same post I was reading.

Also, if it does go back it basically does a “reload” of the list, which can be annoying if I saw another topic I wanted to read but it’s moved somewhere else.

I’m not sure if this is just an issue with my browser or something, or if this happens to everyone. I use Firefox.

I have experienced this on and off as well. Using Firefox 15.0.1

I have this problem in Chrome. It tends to happen if you stay on a page for more than 15 seconds or so and almost always happens if you reply to a post.

A nice quick-fix would be to provide a link back to the subforum and page that you were previously viewing.

I have this problem in Chrome, it also happens after doing a search, then clicking on a result, then clicking back takes you to the page you were before you got the search results.

Ha, I was trying to go back on from a topic on this particular sub forum and I couldn’t. Then I found this topic. Same here. Firefox 15 on Windows 7.

Yep, Firefox 15, back button bugs out sometimes.

The reloading on back also happens in Opera 12.00. It’s so annoying I’ve had to change my forum reading MO to opening threads in new tabs.
