I got a PM and wanted to answer it. When I tried I got:

Due to spam control, you must wait until 2 days from now and then you can send a private message.
-> Is that normal. I NEVER sent any messages before. It would be my very first. And I can’t because of spamming?
Would be really nice to know why
Or is it that if you create 2 forum posts on one day that is already spamming – and then you can create more forum posts but no pms?

The spam control system requires a forum account to be at least 3 days old before a user can send private messages. A forum account is not created until you accept the forum code of conduct.
