Solved this myself. First, here’s what did not work:

1) Three different browsers on two computers and an Ipad
2) Deleting all cookies
3) Closing all other tabs
4) Trying every day for two weeks
5) Declining the Code of Conduct before accepting it

Here’s what did work:

1) Logging into my GW2 account, logging out of it, then logging into the forums

Sheesh.

This finally worked! I tried all of the solutions I could find, multiple browsers, clearing cookies, history, tabs, etc. I have no been able to login to the forums since launch. I have a ticket over a month old with 0 help.

BTW not being able to search the forums without logging in really blows, when you have a showstopping bug not allowing people to login.

Thx Sinth! Been having the problem since game released, and now I tried your way and it worked on the first try.

I would say that most of the errors we are seeing are due to the extreme amount of security AN is adding to everything about the game. This is a classic case where too much security can cause user experience satisfaction to go down. I guess if I were running things at AN I would err on the side of too much security rather than not enough. Frankly, I don’t know where to draw the line. At least they don’t require all of us to use a fingerprint reader.

i had the same issue with that error and send a ticket, and they sad its kinda global and they are working on it, so i tried everything suggested when that didnt work i just waited and now i am able to log with no problems.

This seems fixed. I tried all the suggestions listed here previously but to no avail. Tried again yesterday and logged in first time.

I am in!!! at last

That felt like forever.
Like the others I couldn’t use the forums at all since I bought the game.
Was able to view but not communicate due to the “Token” error.
Sigh of relief, it works now.
