Guild Wars 2

I’ve been using the forums search function since launch, and for months it worked fine, but it seems to be very unreliable recently. It was () hit-or-miss for a while, but now it never works at all. Each time I try to search, regardless of where I am in the forum or what I search for, either nothing happens or it says there are 0 results. I use Chrome on Windows 7 and Firefox on OSX Lion.

PS The () above is to please the over-zealous chat filter.

Having the same problem. Causing a lot of redundant threads to appear.

Ironicly, I wanted to use the search function to see if there are already threads about this. But it didn’t work.

Encountering the same as well. As soon as I type in 2 characters “no search results” appear

Same for me, always “No results” but I enter a name of topic on first page.

I noticed this as well, and have been staying away from the suggestions forum because of it. Searching through 20 pages by hand looking for one thread you saw recently isn’t fun.

Using Firefox 21 on Mac.

It’s somewhat better now, I guess? I do get some results 1 or at most 2 threads for some keywords.

I tried the following keywords in the suggestions thread:

Thief – no results (note: there is always a nerf thieves thread)
Thieves – 1 result
Guardian – no results
Boss – no results
Quaggan – no results (I know at least 2 threads there about quaggans)
Hello – 1 result

Dunno if anything has been done to fix this, but it’s still buggy as a skritt.

My search never works either. Even if I put in a word that is actually on the front page it won’t give me any results.

I just tried searching for ‘Colin Johanson’. 0 Results! Lol.

Broken software is broken.

Best thing is to rewrite it from scratch or install one which actually works.
