Q:

I was just wandering why I can post a question about an assassin which has a ‘profane’ word in it twice, without kitten showing up, but if I craft a sentence that happens to have two words together where the last letters of the first word and the first letters of the next word coincidentally form a ‘blocked’ word then the whole sentence gets ‘kittened’ up?

A:

They most likely have a fixed set of general rules, with exceptions for specific terms used commonly in-game to avoid turning posts into gibberish.

Also note that people often use spaces, punctuation, etc. to try to circumvent the filter, so it’d actually make sense that it’s a little over-sensitive to that. It’s inconvenient, but effective at “kittening” those who try to get around the system.
