This forum needs a way to let us track our own threads
Although a little cumbersome, the forum does already let you track your own threads, view and replies. Simply mouse over your name in the top right hand corner and click. Select “See all messages by ………………” and voila.
Actually you can do even better. You an subscribe to a thread and set up your forum profile options to “Email Replies to Topic Subscriptions”. I’m not sure if it works – I’m using my RSS reader to keep track of the News forum. I don’t see any way to manage the threads you’ve subscribed to, so I’m not sure it’s 100% there yet.

AFAIK, the email notification doesn’t work. Probably intentional otherwise they’ll surely be sending a lot of emails out which in itself adds tremendous load to the servers for an “official forum” like this one, with possible millions of users (don’t forget, there are other language-forums).
Sad, I want to be notified myself. My workaround is bookmarking those threads I want to follow-up. Not efficient but that’s the best solution.
Yeah, the subscribe thing doesn’t seem to be working at all, but the RSS feeds do. I have to copy the link and manually add it to my reader, but that’s the best solution I’ve found so far.

Thank god I’m not the only one that has had issues subscribing. Everytime I hit subscribe, it just takes me down to the post reply box.
ANet.. please fix this.
ANet.. please fix this.Overall I truly do not like this forum system compared to many other game providers. They are simply not very friendly. There aren’t even time stamps for last replies on threads. This should be like forum-101.
Take for instance the double post of "ANet.. please fix this. " in my above post. I only have that typed once. No matter how much I edit it, it won’t go away. Unless I remove the one instance of that phrase, both remain.
Yeah I find that while the forum software offers some nice features in theory, in practice I struggle with it every time I log in.

Overall this probably is the most efficient solution, because you can remove it from the bookmarks when it’s no longer required, and you’re not depending on someone else to keep track of what interests you.
In the mean time, you can use RSS feeds as a temporary although more time-intensive/complex solution. There are many RSS readers and what-not as both browser extensions and stand alone applications. If you would prefer email updates, there are services that can email RSS updates to you. A brief google search brings up an article detailing several seemingly good solutions: http://blog.themeforest.net/resources/7-rss-to-emailsms-services-you-can-use-for-your-item-feed/
What would you use as RSS reader for example ?
I found this one : http://www.rssreader.com/download.htm
Don’t know if it’s effective /easy to use ?
Does it really work ?
For a moment, I had tried to use Netvibes by copying the RSS link, but it seems it did not work, only displaying new messages when I had come on the actual website …
I subscribed to different themes and can’t find them?! What’s that, please right me private message cause can loose this one thread.
when i click “subscribe” nothing happens.
>>>"Forum Profile", top right corner >>>> “see all messages by (insert your name here)” >>>doesn’t get much easier than that.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
