Where is the "Exploit Reports" sub-forum?
Not visible for everyone I would assume
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
I assume they had all the info they needed to fix it then :o
You are not really supposed to publicise exploits. I think there is actually an email – exploits@arena.net?
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
A moderator moved a message you posted to the forum ‘Exploit Reports Archive’ with the reason:
Thread titled [Someone’s spamming investigator kits in LA] has been moved to subforum “Exploit Reports Archive”.
Follow the new thread here.
The link gave me an error 404. I assume we’re having the same problem?
The exploits reports archive is a hidden forum. We do not allow or encourage the posting of exploit details publicly on the forums. When somebody does post them, however, we move them into the hidden archive so members of the development team can have a look at the report after it’s been removed from the public space.
As always, we strongly encourage all exploit reports to be sent to exploits@arena.net. This keeps exploits details from being publicly available on the forums and reaches those who need to address the reports faster than posts on the forums would.
Could it be fixed so that I am not given a link to hidden forums in a PM from a moderator? That was very confusing.
It’s hard-baked into the move function. Right now to two options are for the function to send a PM with the link, or not send a PM at all. We are looking into ways to improve the messaging functionality, but don’t have a set time frame for implementation.
Thank you for letting me know. I appreciate this information and the speedy response time.
