So I’ve been farming Tyr Ragemaw for gauntlet chances and I’ve got it almost down to a science on my mesmer. Is there an easier/non-annoying boss to farm for chances? Who have you guys been farming? Anyone have a favorite? What classes do you guys use?

I’ve just been farming the very first boss of T1. I’ve done it on ele and necro, and both work very nicely. I’d imagine most any class, especially ones with lots of access to blinds and good single-target damage, could easily do it.

Been farming Halmi Hammerfell with my mesmer. Very easy and fast. Probably the warrior is the fastest one with Halmi but mesmer did just fine for me and for a few seconds less was no reason to swap it.

I’ve farmed Halmi with both my ranger and warrior. They both have full ascended/zerker gear with Scholar’s runes, so best DPS options for me. With warrior I can kill him twice in a little under a minute, including resetting the fight and what not. Ranger is a little slower, at about 40s per kill and reset. Ranger skills are slightly longer cooldowns, and that’s a big part of it. I don’t have the most expensive sigils possible, so the time could be cut down a little bit. I do it with 4 gambits, so 5 chances per run.

Halmi Hammerfell with 5 gambits, so 6 chances per run.

Use a thief, its really easy, just use blinding powder (6 ) to negate is big attack. Cast thieves guild as soon as you appear in arena and pistol whip to kill him. Takes 10 secs to kill him.

You can do it without thieves guild which has a 3 minute cool down but it takes longer.
