I would like to know that as well.
The fact that Watchwork sprockets in home instance give extra blade shards and that they drop from things like Atherblade JP makes me think they will be used for more.
However it’s not uncommon for ANet to announce they will disappear in a weeks time and you’d better trade in before then……..
(Sigh)
Anyone else tired of ANet’s convoluted approach to the trophy system?
I would also like to know, the current one seems lackluster. If they have plans to use them later and just want to drain our existing supply on junk then I will be furious.

I get one green weapon for 100 shards.. xD I could’ve deleted them, it would be almost the same.
EDIT: Also a merchant for ascendad mats would be nice. Especially dust.
