Every NPC forgot you defeated Scarlet...
A character I created after the LS was called the leader of the pack just recently. What gives?
Some guy who started the game last week won’t know what’s being talked about if they change the text.
Who wins?
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I’ve noticed just the opposite. Plenty of NPCs are thanking me for my pivotal role in taking down Scarlet. Kiel said I’d be remembered forever in Lion’s Arch history (which is a bit odd since the character she was addressing never entered LA during the events, my Thief did).
Even so, I don’t need the accolades, I’m happy just knowing for myself that I helped. I guess for you guys though, the problem is that they aren’t recognizing you as the hero of Lion’s Arch because they know full well that it was really me.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”
They should might as well replace the broken lion statue in LA with a huge larger than life statue of me, as big as the colossus in the cliffside frac
i had the same thing, fighting my butt of to take down any and all forces and i am not even mentioned, really……is that how you thread a hero?

The game can change the text if you actually did some events. Isn’t difficult to keep track of the events / LS / achievements, and tweak the text here and there based on that.
@ Sorrow’s Furnace (VE)
Anet stopped caring. Those sort of things cost time and money to include. Why do them if they can spend that time and money adding things to the gem store and promoting their gem → gold conversion system.
This ain’t GW1.
We’re all side-characters in GW2.
From an RP point of view, none of my characters actually killed Scarlett, so it actually bothers me if I am credited
I was bothered by the biconics getting so much credit. To me it was a huge number of players that took down Scarlet.
I don’t need to personally recognised for this action, but I wish the story had given proper credit to a large collection of Tyrian heroes as opposed to five people. Scarlet was defeated by the combined forces of the players and that was how I experienced it, not the biconics and an individual player. The story should have recognised that.
