So, I’ve been at the gauntlet arena, trying my luck for a Chaos of Lyssa drop. Here are my numbers:

Total Gauntlet Chances: 823

Loot
Favors of the Pavilion: 3

Toxic Backpiece Skin: 1

Mini Toxic Hybrid: 1

No Lyssa drop yet. I’ll keep trying until I’m bored of killing poor Hammerfall. Has anyone else recorded their drop records?

pre-patch is irrelvant I guess, but 2000~ chances and 2000~ Tokens, nothing else.
Post-patch: 650 chances, 650 Tokens, nothing else.
RNG does love me.

I have opened maybe 3-400 total for the event. 1 favor, 1 monocle, rest tokens.

Post patch: 1500. 4 favors of the pavilion, 1496 tokens.

I don’t have an accurate count, but it’s between 500-700 and all have been Tokens.

..I was thinking I was unlucky, since people got their Lyssa dropped around 500 chances. Then again, at least I seem to get a guaranteed drop every 150.

…I just wish those favors were worth more on the TP.

Pre-patch : Approx. 550 1 favor , 1 toxic mini

Chaos of lyssa should be rewarded to players with 8 orbs achiev.
I keep grinding Blizz to get those bags, there is no fun in just to get one recipe.

Pre-patch: 500+ chances = 500+ tokens (3 favors)
Post-patch: 650 chances = 650+ tokens ONLY!

Yep increased drop rate!!!

I guess we have to farm pavillion for hours and hours before we even see everything valuable.

Pre-patch: 15 chances resulted in 15 tokens
Post-patch: 2000 chances resulted in 2000 tokens and 3 favors of the pavilion

Just going to go back to dungeons where I can will be rewarded for my efforts. What a waste of time.

There is a general lack of understanding of rng in this thread. but i’ve opened 1750 pre patch got 1 favor of pavilion. post i’ve opened maybe 1000 and received 3 favors.

Post patch. I still think 1 in 3000 is a ok drop rate, getting 3000 chances is pretty easy if you have ticket, the long part is getting the ticket (even though you make money while getting ticket)

Just now I opened 1000 chance and got = 1 favor of pavilion + 999 festival token. Good going ANet. You will go down in the history of MMORPG as the game developer who had the right goal but wrong people. We will always remember you.

For those of you who are farming for the Chaos of Lyssa (or whatever other drop), you’d get it faster if you just did dungeons instead and then bought whatever you wanted on the TP.

Atm, since pos patch : around of 5800 chances : 2 favors, rest tokens. (I’ve got a mini once, but my game disconected due to that dc bug that was happening, and I lost the mini).

So I had more luck pre-patch then lot of people after patch…

I’ve taken to doing the gauntlet once daily, no gambits for now as I don’t really have the tickets to burn. I might do more BB stuff for tickets later.

So far since patch:
48 chances
48 tokens
1 Pavilion Favor

post patch:

opened 7: lyssa

opened another 150~.. lyssa

then opened 650 .. 649 tokens 1 lyssa.

then now nothing after 500 chances.

Post patch: about 1000 tokens (give or take 100):
- 2 favors of the pavilion
- 1 heavy monocle

Just opened 360 bags: 360 tokens. Good droprate you got there bra.

If it makes you feel any better I opened about 20 bags and got lyssa drop. Stopped going to pavilion after that.

~250 here, and ~250 tokens, yay! really keeps me motivated to keep plowing through the nearly 4k tickets I have now…

open ~900 bags so far(~400 pre patch/~500 post patch), 1 favor(pre patch), rest all tokens, still have ~300 bags to open + ~700 tickets to grind.

Another 224 chances, and another favor of the pavilion. Oh joy.

I’m getting bored with Boss Blitz. What’s another way to accumulate tickets? Before I just throw in the towel and farm the gold I’ll need?

I very much wish I could sell my tickets to other players that are running low. I’m close to 4k tickets, there’s just no way I’ll use them all.

Pre-patch: ~200 = 200tokens
Post-Patch: ~300 = 300 tokens.

I already have over 3k tokens. This drop rate is ridiculous. Very few people actually enjoys the gauntlet. Making drops only available there and with such a low drop rate, is in no way shape or form good incentive for people to play it.

I want that Lyssa thing, but I don’t wanna buy it for over a 100g. :< Gauntlet farming is so boring and unrewarding.

I’m working on getting 10K chances together.. Quarter way through.. When I’M done I’ll post the results.. Should give a somewhat accurate picture of the chances.. (Sorry can’t be bothered to accumulate a bigger pool and Ragemaw would rage…) Before I got one recipe in approx 1000 chances

If it’s just the Lyssa backpiece you’re looking for and it’s 100g, I’m pretty sure your time would be better spent doing dungeons for the gold to buy it outright than farming the Gauntlet for Chances. Unless you find the gambling fun in and of itself.

In short, trash your Chances and do dungeons.

2k chances ~, one recipe, 2 mini, 2 backpieces, and 9 favors. Got the recipe at a bit more than 2k chances I think.

Opened another 350 chances: 1 favor of the pavillion
(at least my friend who doesn’t do BB or gauntlet was happy to receive it to combine with her bazaar favor, so I guess it’s not a complete waste of time… I keep telling myself that ^^)

Open another 500+, got a favor and a spore backpiece, still no recipe.(~1500 chance and counting)

I did about 150 today and got the recipe. Lucky for me. That is all the RNG blessings I will get for the next few months.

It’s getting reaaaaaaaally frustrating. As soon as (IF…) I get this recipe I am never stepping foot in the pavilion again.

Saved up 100 chances before opening. Nothing but tokens.

Since there’s another patch coming this week, I might wait before opening anymore just in case they adjust the drop rates again.

I don’t understand why they aren’t basically “giving” the Favors away.
At 5, 7 or 10 gold per sovereign weapon skin, that’s quite a gold sink.
There’s little point in having more than one of the other 2 rewards and there’s lots of good looking weapon skins.

No reason to delete while I still have plenty of room right? As for now I’ve stuck them all on my warrior who I rarely play anyways, so they’re there when i feel like farming.

That said, plowed out another stack yesterday, got the drop, and I’m 140g richer
