Is it worth the time to convert Gauntlet tickets into Gauntlet chances? Or should I trash all my tickets and instead spend the time making gold in the Boss Blitz (for example)?

Anyone done a study?

No numbers sorry, but both seem to be pretty poor. If you’re looking to make gold it’s not going to be in the pavillion this year.

So far, the Boss Blitz hasn’t been profitable for me due to many being unorganized zergs.
The profit is far outweighed by the time that it takes to get a bronze, even if we do manage achieving gold or silver.
I have made more gold from doing dailies as of late.

Made 16g in ~2.5-3 hours from boss blitz last night, as well as 1500 tokens. Didn’t sell all the mats I got from it though (saved the 400 level mats), and if I had it would have easily been 20-22g. Really not bad, considering I was just doing it for the tokens.

You just have to get into an organized server. This was completely PUG, no guild coordination involved. It just takes some commanders willing to tag up and coordinate with each other to balance the number of people at each boss. It’s faster when you do it as an organized guild run, too, so you’d make even more from that.

If you can’t find an organized map though…so not worth it. The 30+ minutes you spend at Boom Boom on unorganized maps are much better spent elsewhere in terms of profit.

Had to add this, I redact my previous comment as the chance bags have worked out for me. I used a few hundred and got myself a monocle last night that was listed for 193g.

So, in my experience yes it has been worth it however RNG was in my favor

How many is a few hundred?

Blitz is pretty worthwhile if you join an organized server. Use the LFG tool, it’s magical. Once your server gets a groove going, you can farm the blitz like crazy.

@OP: There is a thread with people comparing their results somewhere on the forums. From what I’ve read (and from opening close to 2k chances myself) I’d say that the chances of getting the Favor of the Pavillion are ~1:500, chances of getting something else ~1:1000 and chances of getting Lyssa recipe at least 1:5000, probably more.
If you can get arena all for yourself you should be able to farm some 300-350 chances per hour. If not the process is much longer.

I’m converting tickets to chances between runs in gold pavilion. I’m usually able to kill the first boss 2-3 times with 5 gambits before another round of boss blitz starts.
