Lest we forget...
We saw her rise to power and fall equally as far. But is she really dead? What about the tunnel at the bottom of LA harbor, that leads to a small boat, and a path leading out to the open area. So ask yourself, could someone as cunning and devious as Scarlet, really be gone? No fall back plan, no way out. To borrow from the HP world, a horcrux of sorts perhaps. The Scarlet we defeated could easily be a clone. We only know what we saw, and what we’ve been told.. Remember her last words “You fools you think my death saves you.. Too…Late !!!”. That phrase plays on many many levels.
It’s fun to speculate anyways.. Imagine Moredremoth rises and on his shoulder, Scarlet cackling madly.. Soooo lest we forget..
She pratically told us she was dead herself, so I would say so. She was merely refering to the drill had reached it’s target.

I’ve probably seen too many villians come back, but even as complicated as the final battle was, it seemed too easy. As brilliant as Scarlet was, and she had no fall back plan. I dunno, couldn’t be that easy. As for villains coming back again and again, Ask any GW1 vet about Shiro LOL But is she dead? We killed the Sylvari that was there, she looked like Scarlet, but was she the real Scarlet?

Villain returns after appearing to be dead? No thanks, I’ve had my fill of that…
If Anet knows anything about good stories (which I honestly wouldn’t count on) they’re going to leave Scarlet at the bottom of the bay where she belongs.

I know what you’re thinking, but Lion’s Arch was merely a setback!
I think what we had with Scarlet’s last attack was a perfect example of a Xanatos Gambit.
I hope she is still alive, gets amnesia, joins us, marries Traeherne, becomes high priestess of Kormir, and saves Tyria.

Taimi is fixing her up with watchwork parts as we speak.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
