I entered the Sanctum Sprint from the Four Winds NPC. Firtst time, I was put in with 5+ minutes to go, but still completed. I didn’t receive the Achievement, so I stayed in through the next cycle start. I Completed the Sprint, got the end chest again, and waited for the timer to end. Still didn’t get the 1st time achievement. Bug or am I missing something?

I’ve also run it a few times and gotten the end chest, but only have 1 time recorded in the achievement. Now that you mention it, I think I might’ve come in after the “official” start on most of those as well. If that’s what’s causing the error in recording, it’s a little dumb because it seems like the majority of the time you’re going to end up in a race that’s already in-progress.

I read and I experienced that you only get credit towards this achievement if you score 1st to 3rd place. Otherwise, it won’t count despite just saying you need to finish it.
Maybe it’s just randomly buggy, too, though.

I’m also not getting credit for my races. If it really requires 1st-3rd place, the description should be changed.

I have the same problem with this achievement. Now I doubt you need 1st-3rd because last time I think that was a seperate achievement and you only needed to do that once.

I’d say it is more a bug at moment.

There is a seperate achievement in the Sanctum Sprint group that is for placing 1st-3rd. I don’t recall the LS achievement saying anything about place, but I’ll check again. Thanks all!

This is still not giving credit. If there is a top 3 requirement, it doesn’t state so.

Same problem. Stuck at 1/5 despite having run at least 5 races. If top 3 is needed, I’m guessing it’s not supposed to be like that…

I can confirm that it does give you credit towards the achievement if you come in first. From anecdotes, 2nd and 3rd also count. However, I’m not sure if this is a case of the achievement being bugged (any completion should count), or whether the tooltip for the achievement is incorrect.

1-3 seems to give credit. My wife who is not very good at this event but enjoys it still was getting no credit for many runs.

I got 2 credits so far, but both attempts I placed first and second, so I don’t know. It might be mislabled. Getting five “placings” really isn’t that hard, I managed that during the first Festival.

So I finished this just now 10/10. You need to come top 3 or no credit towards it, also have to run from start to finish.

Really need to fix tool tip or the way of obtaining this achievement…

I just ran this twice (didn’t place in the top three) and did not receive credit. If the achievement requires a top three finish, the tool tip needs to state this. If only participation is required, it’s clearly a bug that needs to be fixed.

Finished the Sanctum sprint 4 times. No credit on any. Not all of us have sufficient eye/hand coordination to win, place or show. The tool tip on this achievement is false advertising.

Well, it obviously was a bug.
