Does anyone who defeated Liadri last year have this title unlocked already?

EDIT: I can’t tell you how happy I am to see that they updated the AOE circles from that heard to see red to those highly visible orange circles from the marionette fight! Thank you ANet!!!

Pushing my luck here with a second response, but.. How long will this patch be around for?

I can’t play for at least 2 weeks and desperately want this title!

Thanks A net, I died more times to “hidden” AOE in there than I care to recall, time to get back in I think!

This makes me extraordinarily angry.

I love everything else about this patch, but it took me a day and a stack of tickets to beat her last time, and I’m not looking forward to that again.

It took me more tries than I cared to count.. The constant need to re-join the zerg to gain more tickets to try again was painful and frustrating. If I even get to have another go I’m a bit tentative.

This makes me very angry as well. Spent a lot of time and tickets doing this originally…not happy that I have to do it again.

If you did it last year, you’ll probably find the boss will feel a lot easier this year with the solid aoe circles, no dome, and ascended gear. I was kind of annoyed it wasn’t retroactive too, but it thankfully only took me four attempts this year.

Why?

The title should be retroactive imo. Even though she seemed to be easier to beat this year, the fight itself isn’t particularly enjoyable because of the random orb spawns and lag. You know it’s not fun because you never see people who already earned the title/mini going back to do it again and again unless they’re going for Light Up the Darkness or whatever.

Why there’s no title for those of us who defeated her with 8 orbs?! You (developers) said last time that you forgot about adding title for ‘Light Up the Darkness’ and now you did it again… but also missed. Also you promised new bosses and new achievements for them… I just logged in and all of the achievement are already done (except this wrong one with undeserved title).

I’m really glad about the change they made, they didn’t nerf her, they only removed the annoying dome (thanks for listening Anet!) and made the AoE more clear.
I am green/red colorblind and the little red AoE (colorblind setting would be great) on the cage made it barely possible for me to do it the first time, ands the 8 orbs was pure agony, I had to memorize the pattern and time and I had a clock in order to do it.

Got the achievement on my first try, took me a couple of try with gambit though.

You will find it much easier this year if you did it last year. Ascended gear + camera changes + AOE changes = easy mode.

Took me 50 tries last year to beat it. Did it on try 2 this year.

Some may find it much easier this year and I’m happy that it didn’t take you long, however it still took me 37 attempts last night to get it, not much less than it took me last year. I’m just glad that I didn’t destroy my 201 Queen’s Gauntlet tickets from last year…would have been that much worse.
