I’m having a hard time deciding if I want:

The Gas Mask

Mini Panda

Infinite Watch knight Tonic

I got the metaachiev yesterday. I still can’t decide.

I kinda like the Tonic. Being a Dolyak is cute!!
But the Panda is tempting…

I thought about the dolyak, but the cool thing about the watch knight tonic is that you can actually stay in combat and have access to all your skills while transformed

• Watchknight Tonic lasts 5 minutes and then has a 30 minute cooldown; I use it only for my charr and then only for JPs that take less than 5 minutes, but are easier if I can her feet.
• The mini panda has all the issues associated with minis: it doesn’t persist when you zone (or sometimes when you die) or when you relog. This one is a swimmer, which is nice (and fun). It is one of the best minis in the game imo.
• The Dolak Tonic doesn’t allow jumping or work in combat, so it’s a momentary bit of silliness.

I chose the panda, but I had all the skins I wanted from earlier events.

a 30 minute cool down? That is kind of a deal breaker it seems.

The panda does seem like an interesting choice, but all the quirks aside of minis, I think it does look pretty nice!

Watchknight Tonic stops Mesmer producing illusions. as well.

I went for the panda first. It’s adorable, and I think it’s worth it. I then got a second round of 1600 tokens and the two favors so I could also get the dolyak tonic. The tonic is also worth it. But I’d pick panda first.

I saw the 1,600 reward and thought, “Huh, five free levels for my alt.”

I got the Panda, Dolyak tonic, Hot Air Balloon, and am working on the helms, then the Zephyr Model and then whatever else I happen to fancy.

I have a lot of time on my hands recently.

I went for gas mask for pretty much this reason. Tonics are cool, but have no practical use. Minis are neat, but again, you don’t get much out of them. Wicked armor skins? Those I can get behind.

I guess in the end it’s all aesthetic, but for me the skin is the only thing I’m going to get continued use out of.

The other toys seem to work on the Dolyak Calf, as well, cept for the Boxing Gloves.

Well doliak calf with lightning hammer is too good to ignore u.u

Gas Mask is such a wicked helm, I definitely would go for that one first. Mini panda is also worth it if you can get more than one of those. Watch Knight tonic is kind of cool but has a 30 min cooldown whenever you get out of it (and its limit of running around with it is 5 mins), so it pretty sucky there.

The cooldown of the WatchKnight tonic is horrible. But the effect is cool. They need to fix it.
Luckily I already got it from the old event, so I need to choose between panda and dolyak. And between gas mask or one of the back items.

A skin you can use on all characters or a few temp use and silly items? No contest.

The cooldown of the WatchKnight tonic is horrible. But the effect is cool. They need to fix it.

They don’t usually fix things that are working as intended….they seriously don’t want EVERYONE running around 24/7 in a sexy robot skin…..thus the cooldown.

Only time i use watch knight tonic is ACp3 when i transform into some ugly ghost.

watch knight tonic>transform back> look good again.

My husband and I both went with the panda as well.

We already had the watchwork tonic though… so it wasn’t a contender for us.

I still may get the dolyak tonic, just to say I have it. But it becomes just one more thing to clutter up my bank.

Oh Anet, please give us a tab for everlasting tonics! Inspire us to ‘collect them all’ without sacrificing our storage space. (Yeah I know, never gonna happen, but a girl could hope).

I took the Dolyak Tonic and enjoy trolling people at the Flying Dolyak Race by not crossing the finish line when they need more for gold reward.

I chose the tonic and was disappointed. I should’ve done my homework before purchasing it, though: it seems the cooldown has been like that since last year. I really wish they’d change it.

I’d go for the Gas Mask. It’s a sweet helm, unlike any others, and can be used on any/all your characters.

I have the same issue with the Fused Gauntlets vs the Slickpack, and I’m leaning toward Gauntlets only because the Slickpack only really works thematically with Engi, and we all know the engi/hobosack issue.

Pfft, who needs those Dolyak brawl skills when it can use bundles. I use the heart candy or mad king scepter with it. XD Only downfall is he isn’t as advanced as the cat tonic since it can’t jump.

If the dolyak could jump, there would be no doubt in my mind. As ir is now, I still don’t know what to get… I probably won’t be able to get another 1600 tokens (bought the helmets as well), so I’ll have to make a choice soon…

Or of course farm the Boss Blitz to get everything

….of course that’s not a viable option for everyone. I got the panda. After beating Liadri and getting an awesome mini, I felt I needed a cuter one. I wasn’t disappointed

Yes.
Get in an organized blitz and get whatever you want.

I don t like pandas so much (its not a cat, nor a doliak nor a moa… so not interested).
But i took:
mask
Obelisk
Candy corn
Baloon
Doliak tonic

With just few hours of organized guild Boss blitz.

The Dolyak can’t jump, but it CAN swim. And it’s ADORABLE. :P
