Your experience: Gold BB turnaround time.
When I get on a map that has their act together, 5-6 minute runs and 1-3 minutes between them, including the countdown timer. A good map can reset FAST. The problem is that getting onto a good map is hard, you might luck into one right away, but sometimes you either spend a 30-60+ minutes spamming “join” to try and get in, or you get onto a map that is overloaded with AFKs and chaos so they have to switch maps, you end up spending 40+ minutes trying to get that set up. I popped a Birthday Boost a few days ago, and am down to 11 hours at this point, of the 13 spent, probably only half was spent actually having any fun, the rest was spent trying to get onto a functional map.
It really is a horrible system for organizing something that is fun when it’s working.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”
The absolute best I have been in was around 6 minutes per gold with a 1 minute donation period. This was kept up for well over an hour and a half that I was in it. Most of the time those donation periods are around 10mins though.
I had one run in the rly beginning with about 6min left so 2min and instant donation
so all in all 3:15 for one run. But now we just can get 4-5min per run mostly 5mins. And since Anet uses another system with map creation we need around 30-60min+ to find a map. If it will go on like this we will end in 6-7min runs… I know still good. But if you keep in mind that we could be even faster it’s rly sad.
Getting into really fast and organized gold bbs is definitely a hit and miss proposition. I have had a few times when I have lucked out and gotten into a gold run that did several gold runs consecutively with about 10 minutes total time from run to run, including donations. But that is a definite exception to the rule. As others have posted here, you spend most of your time just trying to get into an organized pavillion. Not to mention all the bogus ‘taxi to gold bb run’ groups that you have to weed through before you actually find one that really is in a gold run pavillion.
I have also been in gold bbs that have taken almost as long as bronze runs because of the time between runs donating to the gold-o-tron took so long.
My best time on gold bbs is what I posted above…..about 10 minutes total from run to run…..but that night was ideal.
Mmo players with a screw loose vs mmo players with two screws loose. All very important stuff.

Why is everybody talking about getting into an organised pavilion? Most ppl just want to get into some and rly doing nothing. I organise every evening a hardcore run and it’s just disturbing that people offering taxis (even for some gold) or just afking/leeching. Everyone just want gold pavilions. So do something for that join teamspeak! There is also a difference between gold pavilion. Hardcore and Casual. In Casual you have like 1-3min left in Hardcore you have around 4-6min+ left. But people just join Hardcore because they know they have to do nothing to get gold and won’t even donate. It slows down such a lot. People being greedy wihtout any reason they are just not smart.
If you are really intereset in organised gold runs join teamspeak
