Make Ranger pets (and other minions/summons) invulnerable to Frizz’s lazers in his lazer room of death.

As it stood, builds that used these minions/summons were extremely handi-capped. While one could make the arguement “well he/she should just change his/her build,” Rangers do not have such a blessing. We’re stuck with our pet. And whether we like it or not, that pet literally handicaps us with a 30-40% dps reduction. Not to mention most of our condi-removal is tied to the pet. Throughout the entire fight, I felt like I had to work thrice as hard as others to achieve the same party contribution and simply not get downed from confusion/(cripple/bleed?) spams.

Oh please.

Better yet, let us stow our pets in battle/change the pet system so we can use them in some other way besides being a glorified summon you can never be rid of.

Necromancers at least have the option to not use/rely on minions.

Better, better yet: dump the laser room entirely.

Thanks to the account bound fractal levels I can finally shove my ranger into retirement until they actually figure out what to do with its broken class mechanic.

Pets being immune or having a massive AoE reduction is needed period end of story throughout the entire game. Again WoW had done this and was very successful with it. IIRC it was a 90 or 95% dmg reduction to all AoE skills. They were useful in pvp and pve and raiding itself.

they should make pets condition only and change them into power,vitality,condi damage tanks and only make them do condi damage and stuns and such
