I am curious if you have noticed an increaded drop rate for ascended boxes from fractals after the update.

I got my first ever ascended box last night after finishing lvl 40.

I also heard that now you can get a universal ascended weapon box and that you can select the stats that you want . Where do those drop and has anyone gotten them?

Been running with people that have already done 30 or more level 30+ fractals since patch. Amount of skins seems about the same as before the patch (with chances slightly higher at higher level) but none of us have got the box where you can pick a skin. I am guessing that is rather rare like the ascended weapon boxes.

To give you an idea, since I have been doing fractals I have found about 15 fractal weapons and 1 ascended box.

I’ve seen more reports of it but not sure if it’s more frequent really, just more people doing it since it’s the LS.

Also it doesn’t appear tied to any fractal difficult or reward level based on reddit, someone got a wupwup chest with personal reward 4 doing a level 8 fractal….so all the new folk doing it are probably just increasing the number of reports but overall it’s the same rate.

That;s been weird actually. It might be just a coincidence, but in my last 6 fractal runs, about 3 of them had people getting Ascended chests, where has in my last 2 months of doing fractals before that, I’ve seen the chests drop about twice.

Need to do far more runs and analyse results to reach any sort of a conclusion though.
