I haven’t had the chance to see it yet but I’m seeing a lot of rage about it. What exactly happens in the fractal? Or does anybody have it recorded?

I want to keep reminding people that “holy crap, villains can lie and take credit for stuff they didn’t do”, but I haven’t actually done it and want to see if that still holds any water. >.>

Okay…yes, Scarlet did it. She was summoning portals that were messing up the whole affair. Apparently the Inquest, with Scarlet, had found the matrix of magic that covers the planet, and the reactor is directly on an intersection of it. They are trying to use Dragon or Chaos magic (not 100% sure which), and things go REALLY far south, and Scarlet sorta edges things more south. Then, right as we sorta calm it down, there’s an anomaly that spawns above the reactor, and it’s a really weird-cool looking person, and a pretty nifty fight, and just as we destroy it, the reactor goes critical, and we all wake up in a white room before being extracted by Dessa.

Oh, and Dessa legit can’t ever leave the Mistlock Lab. She tries. And fails.

Yeah, that’s about it. Scarlet did it.

I edited my above post to give more detail, and will edit it again with a tiny bit more. Like how we have to stabilize colliders and get a reactor core.

I never believed the election was rigged, but now I’m not so sure…

Actually, if I had to guess, I don’t think Scarlet did it, per se. I think the inquest did it on their own, and Scarlet just stole their research. But that might just be wishfull thinking.

Scarlet did it. They were exploring dragon/chaos energy and it got out of control. Some sort of anomoly spawns and after you kill it everything explodes.

The far more interesting tidbit is that Dessa seems to either be a computer program or somehow linked into the mists. When Kiel tries to take her back to LA she freaks out, disappears and reappears and her memory is completely wiped of the whole thermanova incident as well as all of Kiel’s visit.

I got annoyed just reading how correct your summary is. There isn’t anymore to it. Out of all the possibilities this fractal could of been they picked the worst one – Scarlet did it.

It would of been better if it was as straight forward as the Inquest make an error and scarlet was not involved.

Who was that figure you fight in the end? Where was the connection between the steamcreature standing on the floating platform in the current Thaumanova site and the explosion? What did we learn about the Chaos energy?

We learnt absolutely kittening nothing! except Scarlet was again involved…. /cry
