Those are the instabilities, dulfy has them aswell now.
Difficulty nothing special, lvl 37 Mai Trin bug and lvl 43 dredge being the hardest

42 was interesting, not being able to dodge more than once a minute by default. 43 and 44 were just damage throttles (43 being far worse than 44) that made things painful.

Level 43 was a pain: killing a horde of dredge while you’re not allowed to attack most of the time (Even dropping a wall of reflection is an instant down) was arguably more boring than dredge at 79 was. The molten bosses were also annoying – not because of the bosses but because you couldn’t kill the champion before the adds showed up without the instability killing you. We resulted to kiting the adds away while the rest of the team drew out the fight.

We 4manned 47 and 48 because we couldn’t find a 5th. Did both in about 1h30m total.

We did aetherblade fractal @ 49 in 7 minutes without trying for any particular time, could probably get it to 6 with some work.

Tldr: It’s easier than ever, except for one or 2 nasty levels.

Kind of what I expected. If you suck you can just keep rolling until you get a good combo (not saying you guys did, just a general idea).

how much AR do you need at 50?

Not sure which is more amazing,beating Scale 50 or the blue/green loots in the last chest for scale 50!haha!

Gratz on hitting scale 50! Hardcore players truly impress.

Congrats! I was really hoping that no one would hit level 50 fractal this fast, but I’m not surprised that it happened.

Considering higher fractal levels don’t seem to be much more challenging, making it a first-come-first-serve leaderboard makes much more sense. If the content is always going to be easy for hardcore players, turning it into a time trial is the only way left to gauge player skill and creativity.

Sure, but that applies even more to infinite fractals.

Not really. With infinite scales the time it takes to climb up is distributed more evenly while in the case of just 10-20 scales it matters to have 10-30 hours as close to release day as possible. By the definition, with infinite scale leaderboards are dynamic, unlike static as they are now.

Opsy, read it wrong XD for some reason I thought you took your crit dmg..

More proof this patch was bad. I am sure there will be plenty of threads in days to come on how level XX is too hard or difficult but the general consensus seems to be that it’s not to hard.

Partly. After the first dozen or so, I didn’t want to risk getting brain cancer due to all the stupidity in there.

What gear did you find yourself using most of the time? Was it necessary to switch gear sets ever?

We didn’t change armor any time. We happened to change build once in a while.
Ouch for lvl 44 (take dmg when crit) with fresh air, or vigor on crit = perma weakness (lvl 48).

But overall you can happily stay in your berserker armor

GZ, now everyone else can catch up to 50 and wait for a max lvl increase of fractals.
Then it will be like a leaderboards reset and you will lose your top rank in the leaderboards.

And it does not matter how many fractals you run now… or how high you would be able to get without the cap.

I think I may end up waiting for people to farm 47 or whatever high level one is easiest just so I can get my rank up without having to deal with the frustrating ones.
