Que the Elitism on the forums when leader-board’kitten since there static. I can see it now I am rank X so I know what I am talking about.

No leaderboards wouldn’t stop this from happening anyway. Elitist people are elitist regardless of whether they have a way to prove it or not.

Really? Really? Level 12 no noobs?? Elitism is a player’s choice. I, on the other hand, chose not to play with those.

Well … people on the leaderboard will represent the 0,00…001% of the player base, so it won’t change anything to be honest, just a selected chosen few that will get some brag rights.

Pfft. I’m the guy that loves bringing noobs along. I play to win, but I’ve got something of a carebear in me, and helping people get through their first few runs makes me happy. So the leaderboard does nothing for me, but hopefully I’ll see one of my mentees on it

It’s all good. I open the instance, and when my elitist detector beeps we kick the idiot.

Must say that in 48’s, the detector was relatively quiet.

Yes because this is a job where we are all getting paid and our family’s food budget is on the line..No. It is a fight for our lives with the fate of the world at the end. It is… no wait it is a kittening game I paid 50 bucks for about a year ago. Wake up. It is a game get over it.

I find it funny how Spvp would take the “baddies” just to get the population up. Sigh.. you are not a kid anymore (maybe I do not know). Let me break it down. Half the pop doesn’t give 2 kittens about fractals and “real” bragging rights generally come from swinging your Eternity around or having AP out the kitten in a group.

Many players will pop into fractals for the LW and pop out for WvW.

Elitism is half the reason I largely stopped playing.

Elitism, for the most part, is just poor behavior. Elitism usually equals the first to rage quit, most whiny player, and one of your worst experiences in game. These are the people I wouldn’t like in the real world. So, why would I want to party with them, right? So do please continue listing “No noobs” so I don’t have to bother getting a replacement for you 10 minutes in after you rage quit on the group.

You can be really good AND be a mentor at the same time. You can be really good and patient at the same time. A good group is usually more casual and yet, skilled. Because the challenge is minimized and the banter is usually better as we blow through the content. Making my time spent with the party worth it.

For the Ranger hate, we’ll see how that goes on Dec 10th

It can actually make the fractals more fun to do. If everything goes smoothly, there’s nowhere to show off your skills. Soling a boss, now that’s elite-worthy!

I don’t want to have to solo the boss or show off skills to anyone. I’d rather a team that melts mobs and can play competently. I don’t think you can assign a label like “elitist” to someone that wants to complete content quickly and efficiently.

While there’s no reason to be abrasive or rude, there’s also no reason a skilled player should carry 2-3 folks for an entire run. Cmon now…
