On two occasions a dev mentioned that fractal weapons would come in boxes that allowed you to choose the fractal skin you wanted.

And everyone rejoiced, for this was by far the best feature of this update.

However, the aforementioned fractal weapon box does not exist and Fractal Tridents are still dropping like candy. The awful kind of candy you got on halloween that came in unlabeled wrappers that your parents through out because it looked extremely shady.

This raises a question: when can we expect to have the boxes added to the game and thereby make fractal dailies worth doing?

Are they not in fractals 40+ ? I haven’t gotten that far yet after reset but i was assuming they would drop in the highest lvl fractals.

None of my group has got it in 40+ yet.

I just did level 41 and got a fractal pistol skin. No box yet.

Done a couple of 40s now. No box.

The item code for the fractal boxes indicates that they are not in the game yet. Will a dev confirm and explain what the status is?

During the live stream they mentioned that the boxes would drop like shards do. Not a reward for finishing. Even if thats the case I haven’t seen anyone get one yet.

The devs also said that it has always been possible to get skins at level 10, even though in a years time there wasn’t a single documented case. Maybe it’s that level of rare. :s

It would make sense to have them extremely rare. So many ppl are doing FotM now. Players have to feel like they won the lottery when they get one as a drop. Unless its a trident, just leave it in the chest.

Bumping this since no devs have commented on the broken fractal rewards.

There is no way the box is in the game. SOMEONE would have reported it by now.

I don’t think anyone has ever reported getting a weapon Ina fractal lower than 20 either, but apparently they dropped (I don’t actually believe this.)

I actually want a fractal trident.

Promises weren’t delivered, they also promised to look at lengths which they did not either, enjoy the new dredge bug though. Bump
