It was much harder before patch. Now im was afk till 40 lvl wis pugs 0 wipes….. maybe 40+ is hard but before……………………………….

Fractals are so hard now. We were doing a pug run and had this one guy who kept being afk until we reached lvl 40. For some reason we weren’t able to kick him, it was extremely annoying and frustrating because we worked our kitten off and this guy just collected the loot at the end.

Because lying on forums is cool.

That is pretty much how every group i have been with for that fight has gone for me. Everyone else wipes instantly leaving me alone to try and beat her which doesn’t happen. So many people are really bad at not being hit by aeo attacks. I have been screwed out of several fractal ranks because of that stupid boss and being stuck with kittenty teams that die instantly.

Mai trin is rather easy to beat as a mesmer/elementalist solo, even at 30+. Of course it depends on what instability you get and you’re not allowed to screw up more than once, if at all.

To be fair, myself and I am absolutely sure others soloed Mai Trin fairly easily when she first became available to fight way back. Since the fight is exactly the same but with Agony, the proper AR would make the Agony moot.

The barrage phase in particular is stupid easy when only you are alive.

At least for pre-instability levels anyways, I’m sure there are instabilities that can change that.

Fractals 40+ now demand a rather well organised party ( however, they are not more difficult than they used to be ).

What’s so hard about them?

That fractal is just plain time consuming. Definately pug unfriendly and more so if they are casuals that don’t have alts for the 2 buttons and control part. The dredge fractal is the worst fractal instance in the game.
