Fracture(d)...
I don’t mind them recycling the old bosses. They aren’t in the game currently and frankly, a lot if not most of the current playerbase never had the chance to fight them.
I think they should make 40+ fractals absolute hell and give it its own, uniquely desirable rewards like account bound weapon skins, or even exclusive PvE-only skills and traits to reward those who managed to get that far.
- agreeing with the fact that glitches or exploites should be taken out but you should look at the “why?”, why are we using glitches, why are we using exploits. Many of these “why?” are overlooked.
A lot of things were overlooked in this particular release. One of them were actual players. And don’t even make me started on the dredge fractal… “It’s more balanced and tweaked out”. Is that the definition of making them even longer than they already were?
Personally, I’m glad to see a return of this content. ~shrug~
“– Mai Trin it’s the same fight as it was during that patch. it’s like you’re out of ideas and just recycle the old stuff.”
That was the entire point of adding Aetherblade Retreat and Molten Facility.
They were added in the way they were so that people could play them again.
Im glad that they were mostly untouched, since i never got the chance to do Aetherblade Retreat due to real life stuff.
Gandara EU
[DYE]
Got dredge last night, it was INSANE! It was already the most annoying dungeon in the game and they just made it more so. We managed to get through it with 2 mesmers, a guardian, and two necros. We had a ton of reflects and aoe. I don’t know how you can get through this without key classes. It’s practically impossible to get the whole group through without people dying.
The zerker/firestorm boss was also bugged to hell. We couldn’t tell if the difficulty was intended or bugged. We had people with 40 AR dying to agony in a level 24 fractal because they would get 2- 4 stacks of agony; others were taking no damage. The graphics on the aoe were also off. If you were standing outside the edges of it you would still get hit. The zerker would also pick a particular person to continually pummel over and over again. You can only dodge and mitigate so much kitten within a few seconds. If we wiped and retry from waypoint it would spawn us right off the bat in the middle of the bosses so people were dying while they were still waiting for their screens to load.
Overall this patch needed waaaaaay more polish. I don’t understand why Anet won’t allow a test server for players to test out content for them. Seems like they’re overstretched and unable to keep up with the QA.
Personally, I’m glad to see a return of this content. ~shrug~
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they should delete the content. What I’m saying is that in the preview they we’re talking about a reformed fractal of those 2 dungeons. what they did was put those 2 in fractals and tadaa we’re done for today. But yeah I’m glad to see those 2 dungeons again
