My thoughts on the fractals revamp
Pros
-An influx of new fractal runners, awesome
-At least we get gold now (Amount is meh, but I’ll take it)
-New fractals are fun and challenging (Reactor final boss was a great fight)
-Fractals are account bound
Cons
-The boss fractal chests seem to have only regular amounts of relics now, compared to the old Jade Maw bonus relics.
-Ascalon boss is now trivial, since the veteran charrs seemingly have AR now
at level 25, there are no veteran charrs with us.

Only players are affected now, so we cant reflect as well.
My pros:
-Drop is better now(more rares, skin update)
-Gold is better than we got before
My cons:
-Story is to broken, and no need in it at all, waste of time with low ~ no reward.
-I dont see any fixes, Mossman – still can be bugged, same colossus, same dredges…
-There is no more random fractal select? 3 times: swamp – colossus – dredges – swamp – colossus – dredges – swamp – colossus – dredges -volvo fix plz
-after all no challenge – use bugs and easy pickup your lvl
-inflix are randomly dropped per lvls, lvl 36 was way easy than any lvl before, and u thunk there more same problems.
-meta was to easy

Honestly, I did like most of this update, but there need to be few more changes:
-Scale daily chest gold to 0.1*Fractal Level
-Fix Dredge path
That’s all I can think of, really. I like the new fractals, but those two issues of risk/reward ratio need to be taken care of.

I agree with this, even tough also a 0.05*Fractal level would be better than what we currently have (which is saying something….).
And, of course, fix the camera angles at vulcanic and maw. The other things were very nice.
Most Important Pro:
Harpy Fractal is finally playable!!!!!
I think there are good things in these updates but they really missed the opportunity to fix a lot of fractal problems. They tried to force players back into the developer’s intended tactics without considering how badly designed and unpopular some of those intended tactics are (e.g. dredge). The change to infusions really just create new infusion problems rather than solve any previous infusion problems. It shows a big gulf in understanding between the player base and the developers.
I love everything except that the dredge need to be toned way, way down. The new fractals are fun and quick, and the changes to the old fractals – tuning, rewards, etc. – are mostly for the good. It just confounds me that they left the most hated fractal alone. (Well, not alone – they fixed what was not really a bug on the gate part to make it more annoying.)
Most Important Pro:
Harpy Fractal is finally playable!!!!!
I was so surprised and overjoyed at them not glitching up that I did a barrelroll straight off a platform to my death.

I have to say that the last boss of the thaumanova reactor is definitely a great fight! i really enjoyed that one
I noticed that the boss of the Ascalon fractal was extremely easy last night when i fought him. I thought it had something to do with all the charrs being healed by my group or something. The boss usually destroys them all with one of his fire moves. I’m not sure why they survived but i did find it a bit odd
Mistlock Abilities in Fractals is a good step toward hard content. You can clearly tell the skills from the newbies and vets after level 31+. I likes it a lot
