[Teef] guild :>

- Swamp: hey let’s make Mossman spawn 100000 of wolves so they body block any non cleave attacks…. YEAH GREAT IDEA… right?
- Cliffside: still long, STILL no reward
- Dredge: i think there was more than enough said about this one already: BAD DESIGN.
- WHAT IS THE POINT OF RED CIRCLES ON THE FLOOR WHEN YOU GET HIT BY kitten ANYWAY REGARDLESS STANDING OUTSIDE OF IT?
- Molten: bring guard/war or don’t play.. srsly do you even tests this kitten on anything but warriors?
- Instabilities: why…. why?
- kittened camera at jade maw
- bugs…. so many bugs
Yes, content got harder but reward is still GARBAGE. Few greens for 2 hours run. GREAT IDEA YO.
Honestly, why touch what is not broken? (not talking about exploits) I actually semi enjoyed fractals… now I HATE THEM.
Please, don’t touch existing content anymore. This is biggest failure so far. I don’t have enough words (and probably would get banned) to express what i think about dev team and their ideas for this LS.

Not sure I’d call it a failure, though I must say that I do agree with some of this. Rewards need buffed. A few fractals need reworked big time (look at you dredge fractal!).
Completely agree. I really do love this game, but this is the first patch where I felt really let down.
The only way dev can prove to me that they tested this is for them to post videos of them playing the new content.

They did a Twitch stream of a fractal run and also the Thuamanova Fractal, I just wish they filmed themselves trying to respawn after they wiped. “Ummmm, where is the waypoint?! Ummm can’t find it…” – stream suddenly cuts out.
Fractals were boring as hell before. At least now there is some variety. Probably lots of bugs to fix but still better than running the same few crappy fractals over and over.
Don’t forget the egregious bugs on the Mai Trin fight that imposes double agony without warning or ports you right into cannon fire by the door from random spots around the room. Or the lack of waypoint and/or method of getting back into the reactor on character death. Or the death with no matching animation or hit on the spinning lightbars in the aetherblade terminal puzzle.
The new DPS requirements and incoming damage turned what used to be a sometimes frustrating but always fun and hilarious evening into hours of torture and final abandonment on the Mai Trin fight. My group wound up discussing the fact that levels are account-bound now and that we needed to give up our light and medium armor classes because the fractals are clearly only designed for warrior/guard groups.
I want to believe that this is growing pains and it will get better, but I don’t see ANet backtracking on this. We’ll get some bug fixes, but the push towards running all heavy armor groups has been obvious for some time. This last patch just sealed it.

yeah except they made the maps that were ok actually worse now
I was upset when they put living story/world…w/e into the WvW. I think it’s a similar thing now. They would do well to draw a relatively hard line between their “living world” and fun content, with a dedicated playerbase.
If they’re gonna mess with fractals, fine; patch them, bug fix, balance, update loot tables and rewards, etc…. If they are going to add new fractals, they should keep a similar theme. Localized, “short story” type segments. Adding the living story into it is just a recipe for disaster. The idea of these “instabilities” is actually a cool one. Had it been tested out, it would be a good thing imo.
However, as it stands, I think they are spending too much time working this story angle into ALL aspects of the game. Some things, are best left as they are.

I understand what you are saying I just think that its a bit funny from my perspective as our guild group ran through fractals 30 with 2 engineers, 1 ranger, 1 necro and a thief, and fractals 31 with the same party other than the ranger left and we got another thief.

try lv 38 with longest maps and instabilities
oh no worry we will eventually, lol its just gonna take a little while to level up to that. and as you can see that I said in my other post that I do understand where your coming from and I agree a bit but they have essentially been saying heavy classes or go home for a while now in pve…I also see that grenades will be basically impossible to use in fractals 43 (as if almost 700 damage from retaliation from certain mobs in arah wasn’t enough)
