Post if here if you’re new to Fractals and want to learn or help those who do.

I know that the FotM can be intimidating for those who have never tried it and sometimes the forum gives the impression that it’s for hardcore players (and maybe some elitists).

So who is looking for other neophites that want to get into the FotM for the first time and who is looking to help the first timers?

is there a guide for all the fractals in FOTM?

I’m planning to finally level my fotm from 4 to 10 or higher this weekend. This patch makes me excited.

I’ve only done maybe 6 fractals, and still have no idea how to get out of the swamp
I’m perfectly able to follow directions and figure stuff out/adapt to the situation, but I’ve had trouble with PUG groups where no one really knew what to do and was either unwilling or unable to communicate properly in the chat.
I’d like to learn my way around (to get some Ascended stuff after all) on the Euro servers. I’m also very patient and willing to share what I learn with others.

I wanna learn Fractals! Tbh, more for the story than anything else. I’ve done lvl10 on engi and never looked back – it was traumatic experience since I just turned lvl80 and had poor gear. Meanwhile I got a fully geared guardian with ascended trinkets, so it should go more smoothly.

Like Panzer, I am willing to go into lower fractals and help teach. I just require some form of voice chat (TS Pref), and if not, lots of patience as I type stuff out.

The guide would be a good supplement at least. The guide shows newbs how the content works and even fractal pros can learn good strategies.

I’ll also add myself to this thread as an experienced helper. Feel free to hit me up, playing lower level fractals again would be fun and a nice change from the 48’s.

edit: Hmm, i can’t link the playlist, but you can find it at his channel anyway. Guide for all fractal on a higher level and every mechanic is explained.

You’re absolutely correct, and in retrospect I see how mean my post sounded. Wasn’t meant to sound mean, just encourage people to not only look at that.
