List of balance changes
Swampland:
- Mossman now spawns veteran wolves which hit quite hard.
Urban:
- NPC’s charge at mobs even when players avoid aggro and stay back. They instantly charge at the siege in the centre.
- NPC’s are immune to Captain Ashyms agony so they are now permanently alive for the fight making it incredibly easy. You can just leave them to finish him off for you.
Cliffside:
- On the arm seals the groups of mobs have a delay before they respawn. So you can now clear a group and hit the seal before the group respawns. Makes it much easier in the higher levels as there is no danger of the hammer wielder getting killed while running to the seal.
Aquatic Ruins:
- no one will get this fractal anyway, 25% chance to get swamp.
Solid Ocean:
- new camera.
Swampland:
- they buffed mossman and did nothing with bloomhunger. Honestly, I’m surprised.
Uncategorized:
- less harpies.
Underground:
- no changes to the amount of dredges since ∞+x=∞. That’s how math works.
- dredges’ weight plates come now with live detectors.
- legendary resonator still lurks.
- dredges redecorated clown cart room.
Urban:
- fellow charrs found some courage.
- you can now facetank Ashyn’s meteor shower.
Volcanic:
- new camera.
Good to have this kind of thread. Thanks!
Urban:
- The center square area has been made smaller, so it’s harder to pull enemies without npc aggro.
- Monks healing has been improved I think and they are considerably harder to kill at the new lvl 30 than I remember at the old lvl 48.
Snowblind
-new camera (completely unnecessary)
-mobs in the run-by part are more numerous or more packed

“Numerous bug fixes and balance changes have been made to previously available fractals.”
I think it would be nice if we gathered these changes at the same place.
Aquatic Ruins:
- Small Jellyfishes have got severely buffed. They constantly dash around dealing 2.5k damage (scale 10), now imagine when there’s 10+ of them. If Beast pulls you inside him during their dash they will still hit you and you will probably get defeated (no downed state).
Now imagine the jellyfish fight with mossman coming every 30s to kill you (lvl 31) Great fun!
Did mossman learn how to swim? He’s becoming Chuck Norris with every patch.
We did moss man at level 30 last night, and it didn’t give us many issues, no one was downed, I could see it becoming an issue for pugs though, ( unless they patched something during the night )

Did you know that axes can fly through water like thin air?

Only if Chuck Norris throws them.

He did!! He’s even using a spear underwater His attack is like Mesmer Spear skill #2

I was referring to the level 31 Instability where Mossman appears every 30s to kill you

did the mossman chase you perma-stealthed? would make sense…
I expect it for the next patch….
Dredge legendary suit
Aoe agony attack damage split between physical attack and agony attack….because we hate pugs.
Also the fractal was too short.
To tell the truth they sligthly reduced dredge damage…but maybe it was due to the fact was level 30…i don play 30 since a lot.
Also with the bugged iwarden was really boring :/
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Nah he’s going out of stealth to attack like every 30s (for some reason he didn’t appear for the kraits part, only at the end boss).
Urban: New checkpoint at the Dulfy’s gate after the gate is broken, thus to reset the NPC, everyone need to run back to the starting tent.
Urban: NPC can now be aggroed to fight and then wiped against the infinite spawn ascalonian outside the Dulfy’s gate.
Volcanic: The final boss has reduced HP/or toughness
