What do you think about Molten boss fight on fractals 40+ ? I’ve just made it with my guild mates on level 41. It took us about 2,5 hour. Seriously, EVERYTHING is killing you with 1 hit. These waves from blue boss are not that bad, but fire circles from the red one are ridiculous. If you get hit from it – you are dead. And it is not about agony. It is about damage from this circle. Thiefs are dead instantly, and warriors loss about 90% hp.
For me, a little nerf is requierd. Not big but still..

Ah.. and forgot to say about random agony you get on the right-down site of the arena.

No problem if u can dodge and jump. Done it on 50 with my mates. And severl times on the way to 50.

You need to properly dodge and jump. That is the point of the fight.

I usually clear it on my first attempt with PUGs at lv. 40 and higher.

Jumping is always a little unreliable due to latency and slight size issues with the waves being bigger than they actually look(but that could be latency issues as well). The fight takes some practice and the real defense against the waves is making split second judgement calls. If your being hit by white ones while hes sending them out its best to just start dodging and I always dodge the fire wave so latency or a slight miscalculation of a jump doesn’t become a huge burden to my team. I would get use to also just running away a lot. The waves do not cover the whole platform depending on where hes standing and if your far enough away you can just turn tail and run.

the bigger issue is…you can’t even dodge them well… since in 90% of the time they hit you anyway, even if you are in dodge animation

You’re probably trying to dodge the wave you can’t jump or dodge.

You’re probably trying to dodge the wave you can’t jump or dodge.

I’ve actually seen the ‘evade’ text and still take the damage. IMO moving walls of damage are just asking for bugs.

Well, I’m glad I’ve never had that problem. It’s easier to jump toward the waves, anyway.

If you need to, drop your graphics settings to low when you do this boss fight. It allows you to jump with much more accuracy. Now if you have 30+ FPS all the time then this won’t help you.

As far as I know in the first phase, all of the firestorm’s projectiles can be reflected or absorbed. The more of them you can reflect back, the less will make it onto floor and that will give you more space to jump the waves.
