Guild Wars 2

Has anyone acquired this achievement?
My guess is that this one needs to be done during the Molten Facility Boss fight (Map 4)
Also only one of the bosses uses Shockwave, which is the Berserker.
I have killed this boss without getting hit by any of his attacks and followed that with killing the other boss and still nothing?
Has anyone else had any luck?

when i did that fight, my group would dps melee guy and i sat on the other side dpsing fire boss to drop stacks… so i basically never got in range of shockwave and got archive

my best suggestion, try to play range character

I got it the first time I did those bosses, playing on a greatsword mesmer. It might be bugged and not always give credit for it when it should, I couldn’t tell, but it can definitely be done.

I have now completed this twice without credit, I submitted a ticket but will likely hear nothing back. The next time I do this I will be checking the combat log very closely and report back.

Tried this several times on different difficulties. On lvl 1 my team bursted him down before I took any damage at all (I ranged from 1200). Tried dieing at the start by jumping into the lava. Tried it normally on 30+. Never got the achieve so far.

Same here, I took a full zerker group and we bursted the zerker in less than 10 secs, he did use 1 wave which our party completely avoided, then we moved on to kill the 2nd boss and the level was done in almost no time. Still no achievement, they really need to fix these achievements….every living story seems to have 1-2 achievements bugged with each release.

Same for me. Never got hit by any waves, ever. No Achievement.

This happened yesterday to me too. Was using a Ranger with 1500 range longbow, WELL out of range of the Berserker. Only hit I got during the entire battle was one random flame hit from the Firestorm. No achievement.

I wonder if there IS a bug… Or if something like “your pet/clones/minions getting hit by the shockwave also negates the achievement”… For those that tried and failed to get the achievement, what professions were you playing?

I have done this on both an Elementalist and Warrior without getting it so I doubt it is tied to pets/minions eating the shockwaves.

Maybe you only get it awarded if you successfuly avoid shockwaves with a jump in addition to never being hit.
