I have plenty of rings sitting in my bank and I really hope this patch will let us salvage them. Hope Anet did not forget about this -.-

Yeah. Same here. Or at least sell them on TP.
OR salvage them for X obsidian shards.

There is no chance they’ll let you sell them on the TP.

Even if they just like us salvage for luck and the new AR thing that would be something

Make 1 ring salvage to 7 ectoplasms.
Make 1 infused ring salvage to 10 ectoplasms.

Making them tradable would be nice, but it would basically crash the market for them.

A more likely solution is having them salvageable for random Ascended mats (Dragonite, Empyreal or Bloodstone), Dark Matter and Mist Essence.

Dark Matter, please. I’ll be dancing with joy, even if they salvage into just Dark Matter and nothing else. I just can’t get the stuff in favorable numbers from salvaging exotics.
