When i first saw a Hoard of Ascended Materials I was like Deldrimor Steel! Spirit Wood! Dark Matter! Nope , fine print says just the brick, star, and ingot, and not even in the basic form for me to level a crafter with. guess i’ll just be doing it for the Achievement points.

Yes, the reward is very disappointing. I too saw the name of the item and was excited. Then disappointment settled in. It isn’t even hard mats, just the ones that everybody has tons of already. And not only that but just one of each. I too will just be doing it for the achievement points. If they ever fix it and it lets me select my fractal lvl and start fractals.

The meta event is the least of this patch’s problems.

and then what? make armor.. if armor will be made same way as weapons, i won’t be making any then

i play thief, how am i suppose to farm low lv leather lol, there is no skinning prof in this game

Salvage items drop per the area’s level, not your own. Other gear drops can too, most commonly being white items, but this is far and few between. And that’s ignoring the insane gold making going on and will only increase with said armor patch.
