Unskippable Cinematics - Why?
I think most of the unskippable ones are because something is actually happening while you’re watching it. Using the molten bosses as an example, you can’t skip that because that’s when they enter the arena. If players could skip that, they would still have to wait as it happens anyway.
That being said, I hate the burning boulder cinematic in the grawl fractal.

Developer said that sometimes they have to make stuff unskippable because there is stuff happening background (= dungeon coded bad).
When a scene is scripted out there may be triggers that NEED to happen in order for a set of events to play out the way they were meant to be. If we allow players to skip this type of cinematic, then it can unravel scene, spawns, and such. I’d love to have a fix for this…but players may have to bare with it for the time being. I feel your pain.

If we stay at that example, they could jump in the arena while you are making the way down the bridge.
In SAB i dont know what could have been happening in the background at the first
scene.
If you run a lot of dungeons, like myself, the cinematics become more of an annoyance than anything else.
Edit: Thanks for the quote Wethospu, haven’t seen that one before.
Still annoying though

I don’t see how this is preventing ’em to trigger that code on skip. Even so, just increase load times and make cinematics skippable, it would be less irritating .
Oh ya, the SAB intro cinematic. If any cinematic needs to be skippable, it’s that one.

Wow, I don’t understand that at all.
