Good morning. I’ve only started fractals with the Fractured release and have only been playing a few months. I feel like at least half or more of the boss fights in Fractals i am forced to go ranged or I’m constantly getting downed. The only times I’m switching to melee on those bosses is when I see they are focusing on another character. I feel like I am decent at dodging but dont see animations that i should be dodging that get me killed on some of these bosses. I’ve only done up to lvl 10 and all but one fractal, but is this what Fractal boss fights are? mostly ranged with a few melee mixed in or do i just need to suck less? Thanks for your friendly input.

No offence but I can solo fracals lvl 10 with my elementalist having 10k hp !

warriors doesn’t have enough evades, that’s why i always use signet stamina on boss fight.
you need to take the small hits and dodge the big ones

It depends upon your group really. With 2 guardians you can often stand toe to toe with anything and kick out the dps. With one guardian you should be ok with sensible play. Groups with three or four warriors but no guardians seem to fall over like flies. Anyway, nothing wrong with picking the right time to go range if you need some cooldowns to come back.

Axe/Sword + Greatsword is so OP for fractal boss fights. Give that a shot.

In fractal, some fight you usually do in range, some in melee. Play more and you’ll know. Everything can be melee’d tho. But really, don’t torture yourself, for some bosses, just range and don’t feel bad.
