Guild Wars 2

Of all the stuff in that Fractal, that thing got me completly lost. I mean i cannot even imagine to think of something that makes sense.

All we know is that the meltdown of all that Chaosmagic created an at least semi-sentient humanoid being of pure energy.

Is there any information about what that thing is?

I think you can create a back story for it, such as the Inquest putting a guardian on the reactor core or the Inquest experimenting to create a new being, but I didn’t see any explanation for it in story mode.

It’s whatever Scarlet wants it to be, of course.

It’s Dr. Manhattan of course.

This is why Fractals are great. It leaves things up to speculation, and gives us a sense of wonder.

Reminded me of these guys personally. Both made out of yellow lightning, humanoid, threw spears.

I honestly would not be surprised if the Inquest had captured a djinn and prisoned it in the reactor’s core. It wouldn’t be the first time djinn got imprisoned to empower a device (see Iron Forgeman from GW1). And speaking of the Iron Forgeman, it was studied by Oola, and a lot of Inquest work is similar to Oola’s later work. Coincidence? I think not!

He was a tone-downed version of Taboo from Super Mario Bros. Brawl … or i’m just imagining things
