Guild Wars 2

I started my first fractals runs after the patch and now sitting at level 10. But now I am wondering what is the point? The content is nice and everything but do I really want to go higher levels? All the rewards are account bound so no gold can be made? most of ascended stuff you can buy with luarents and guild tokens or badges or etc. Some of the skins look nice but is it worth it to grind to level 25+ for a chance of drop?

So as a new player I am wondering what is the point of running high level fractals? leader board?

Fun?

If you don’t want anything from there and don’t enjoy them either, there is really no reason to be there.

Because you need about 2.5k Relics to get the shiny backpiece so it’s faster doing high level ones o.o at lv 26-30 you get 10 per room and 50 at final boss…. but with these new rooms doing 20+ is not reccommended anymore , unless guild or friends.

Fun. I enjoy fractals, and I was fine with them not giving gold. So now it’s just a perk. I do like the Fractal Weapons, and the fact it lets me save my Laurels for amulets and not rings.

Just might not be your thing. But keep going. You might change your mind.

For the same reason people craft legendary, or solo Lupi and so on, for the fun of it, the fun of the challenge.
