Guild Wars 2

Before the patch we were able to zoom out more than usual once we get to the Jade Maw tentacle area. Now you can’t zoom out more than anywhere else. Normally it wouldn’t really bother me but I play fractals on a max sized male Norn guardian and sometimes the Maw’s red dot is too far above my head to notice. I guess I could just get used to it but it was also nice being able to see where the crystals and tentacles were with a quick glance without having to rotate the camera. I would like to know if this is an oversight or you mean to keep it like this.

Yea, I noticed this last night too. It’s not gamebreaking, but it is annoying.

This whole patch is an oversight.

I’ve noticed it too, and I also play a Norn. It is a bit annoying.

I thought I was going crazy and imagined it was zoomed out more than before.

On the other hand, though, they changed the camera to a zoomed out one on the Ice Elemental in Snowblind, which is extremely appreciated.

hella annoying, can’t see crap on screen, especially red dot from jade maw

i don’t envy charr and norn players

same issue on fire shaman, that oversized bat is flying in the air somewhere above your screen, yet you still have to watch him not to get hit by arrow and watch the ground for lava pools/worms at the same time..

i have that issue too, and as a giant norn warrior i have to look at the top of my screen to be sure im not missing the red skull

Anet please help. This is kinda broken. I’m zoomed all the way out in all of these pics and have a skull over my head in all of them….

Exactly what Kelly said. I can never see the skull over my head anymore either. Please let the zoom go way out again!
