so how is to going to work with the crafted infusions you put into the rings? they going to refund? since all my gear is ascended with infusions giving me 55 ar, (including legendary) would I be getting the money back for these?

I’m guessing it will be a very high cap, but when you consider that you’ll need (2^(x-1)) 1-AR infusions and ((2^(x-1))-1) thermocatalytic reagent (about 1.50 silver each) for an inscription with x agony resistance (assuming you only use 1-AR infusions), it’ll be a very steep progression.

Can you give us something to do with the tab full of ascended rings that we have no use for other than selling them for 4 silver? Maybe some kind of salvaging way of getting extra agony like we now have with Luck?

If we can salvage them for AR things, that’d be amazing!

That’d be nice actually because I have a ton of account-bound ascended rings that are collecting dust in my bank.

nothing. the infused items are gaining an additional slot. The old slot isn’t changing at all. You still get that infusion, plus an additional agony resist only slot.

Artificers of at least 100 skill will be able to combine two infusions of the same level with a Thermocatalytic Reagent to make an infusion of the next level. For example, you could take two 2 infusions, combine them with a Thermocatalytic Reagent, and create a +3 infusion. Do the math for +5/10

you will get an item with an agony infusion slot of +5 and a regular infusin slot with whatever infusion you had put in there before.

Will we be able to upgrade infused items’ inscriptions, or only individual infusions? It doesn’t make much sense to be able to either use it or upgrade it, but not both.

Also is it possible to combine one infusion with another one already slotted in?
or can we withdraw say a +5 infusion from a ring, combine it with another +5 infusion and put the result +6 back into ring?
